Default Need info on LS into a Foxbody

Im sure this subject has been gone over a ton of times, but i would just like to get some definite answers as far as the swap goes, so with that being said:

What i have:
1987 Mustang GT
5.0 (Will be sold to recupe some money)
GT40 Heads (Will be sold on or off the motor depending how its sold)
Cobra Intake (Will be sold)
Long tubes (Will be sold unless i can make them work by cutting the flanges off)
Full exhaust (Will be sold also if i cant use it)

So with that said, what ALL will i need to finish this swap somewhat cheaply?

4.8/5.3/6.0 Longblock
K member
Lsx bellhousing which a t5 will mate up to
Shouldnt need a tranny cross member since i will be utilizing the t5 for awhile, right?
Fuel system (what all will be needed here?)

Next big question, should i go carb or efi?

I think i would prefer to be EFI, in which i will need some kind of pre-built harness, but if it makes no difference whether or not i go carb/efi then i might just do the carb for the simplicity.

So does anyone have like a guide with EVERYTHING that i will need, or maybe even just a list of everything? A complete guide or how to would be awesome so i can start ordering parts.

I personally would go efi but just depends on preference.as far as the kmember goes get either the team z or aje.idk if your stock crossmember will work but it probly will not be a issue.fuel lines should be cake.most of the swap is pretty strait forward.id say look thru builds to get ideas

Other than to just get the car running, what are your goals with the car? What will you use it for? What kind of power do you want to realistically want to make? These swaps take time and more money than you think. If you get a solid plan together and the questions should start answering themselves.
