Default Fresh paint, ok to clean and wax? Also cleaning tips?

Well I finally got my car painted, it has only needed it for 5 or 6 years now.

I picked up the Meguiar's deep crystal car wash and their carnauba plus liquid wax, would it be alright to use these products on paint that is about 3-4 weeks old?

The Z28 was towed up on a drive on uhaul trailer when I made my voyage from Florida to Pennsylvania. So I'm ready to wash and wax it, if the products I selected are ok.

Also I'm looking for some tips, I haven't had to keep the outside of this car perfect since 2006, how often should I wax?

I am storing the car indoors for the winter.

Which brings me to another question, what are some suggestions for something to dry it with? I think for the time being I will have to hand wash it, and rinse it by hand, any techniques for doing this? Where the car is, I do not want to run a hose, it will make a mess.

Thanks for any help!

You'll be ok to wash it. Wash n wax type car soap is ok the day after its painted. As a painter and autobody tech, I tell people to wait 4-6 weeks after I paint the car to physically apply wax out of a bottle depending on temp/weather.

People use those waffle weave microfiber towels for drying, which work great, but I like to use the leaf blower for the bulk of drying...then use the towels for the last little bit of drying.

I did a car not to long ago. i had 2 body specialists tell me to wait 4-6 weeks. i applied wax after about a week. stupid move. there are parts of it that dont look flat, kinda wavy like. Apparently even thought the paint is dry to the touch it still releases gases because the bottom coats still need to dry. Trust me just wait and make sure its completely dry
