Question Got a race on Sunday can I up my shot?

I have a race on Sunday. He's an auto car and I'm still a M6 with a 10 bolt for now so I need as much hp as I can get to run him down. I know I'm going to mph him but I think I'll need a little more to catch him. It will be on the strip not street.

I'm currently running a 100 shot with BR6's and pulling 5 degrees of timing. I can't change the tune (I don't have tuning software). So my question is...can I up my shot to a 125? I plan on changing plugs to BR7's. What do you guys think?

If I had to guess i'd say you would be fine at a 125 shot (especially if just doing it just this one time for the race) but like mentioned above checking the plugs would be a smart move as well

with 5 degrees you SHOULD be ok on a 125 but plus will tell. I would definitely be in some 7's for safety.
