Default New Wheels!

Got these for a good deal from a friend.

When I got them they were chrome.

Bought a couple cans of plastidip to see how black would look.. I think it turned out great. What do ya think? Chrome or black? If i leave them black they will be gloss black, not matte.

I guess I'm the only one that disagrees with this :O I guess I am just lucky (or talented?) at having black rims that look unique? lol They look good either way OP, just get some center caps on there!

lol whats wrong with the wheels?? I dont think they look bad. I do have center caps but I was just test fitting the wheels in the photo. I think I'm probably going to keep them black for a while and maybe powdercoat gloss black in the future.

I think it's more so that they don't exactly "pop" out at you. They're kind of generic looking, I think everyone's opinion would change if the rims had a lip on them.

I do love chrome wheels, but I think with this particular setup black looks better. Maple red metallic w/ black wheels = sexy IMO. If I had any other color car I'd probably keep the chrome.

Generic is probably the word to describe how they look. Black or chrome they look good but for that "POP" WOW Wholy Sweet Mother of Pearl LOOK you need bigger size 18's or 19's black or chrome with a big chrome lip.
Look at my wheels on my 97 RS vert and you'll see I'm talking from experience. You want bigger and a chrome lip for the OOOOOO factor
Right now you have a clean cool look..not WOW, yet
