I used a 243/259 .624/.624 114+3 with a 9" and 4.11 gears and I must say I had two other options this one and these:

http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...csid=1416&sb=0

And I should of because I started to pull vacuum at the topend. As always always go bigger and my dumbass should of. Live and learn I guess

I made 515/500 thru the 9" on a mustang dyno.
My best pass on 275/40/17 Nitto nto5r's was a 11.5@125.96 and 1.7 60's lol
I know I got a 10 second car but I ran out of money for the slick n skinny setup lol. Hopefully this year lol.

I drive my car a lot. May go to the track a couple of times a year. My heads are advanced induction ported LS3's. The cam I'm about to install is a 238/250 on a 115 +5. The car is a A4 with a 3600 stall.

Ya, if you are in a heavy full weight GTO, smaller is better usually. Don't go for a huge came to make big numbers, TQ will suffer.

Texas Giant v2 on a 112lsa. I have a pretty flat power curve from 4k on up. It doesn't like anything below 1800 though at part throttle.

FWIW: The best cam I ran in my 403 build was a 230-240 with lots of lift. That build made 530/480 with 400Ft\lb of RWT from 2200RPM up. From my experience the sweet spot on the intake side is 230 to 234 degrees and the lsa\icl 111-112.

Just my $.02

Should be able to go a lot lower than 11.5 on those drag radials.

I've managed 1.52 60's on 265/40/18 M/T's.

It was a hot and humid day, the Nittos were not hooking past 3500!
Ill be getting some slicks and skinnies this spring so I know I'll get a 10 sec slip.
