Default Truck manifolds flipped and turned around?

Title sounds confusing...but I was wondering if anyone has ever taken truck or avalanche manifolds and turned them upside down and forward facing. I think if the flanges were cut-off and modified to be directly forward you could keep A/c. I swear I saw pictures of a setup like that on here...but I've searched and searched and can't find it now. Any help/pictures is really appreciated!

Yeah thats basically what I want to do with them. But I remember seeing a thread where someone had done that and then basically made This: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ls1-turbo-ki...1751e9&vxp=mtr

But upside down as well. I need to see where everything ends up in a completed engine compartment. I'm thinking of taking the plunge and building my own kit and I'm wondering if I can get away with running my hotside up high by either standing up the radiator and putting the turbo on the bottom of the crossover or by putting the turbo where the battery was.
