Default 1998 convertible trans am

I was wondering how much i should pay for a 1998 trans am convertible (not a ws6) with 66k miles, only thing that is wrong with it is the drivers side window motor is going out, and the right headlight gear is grinding when it goes down other then that i would rate it a 8/10 car, only 2 owners no accidents.

i dont know if this helps you but theres a 98 vert ws6 with 44k on the clock near me looks super clean there asking 18,900 they would take probably somewhere around 17k out the door.

You should be in the $10,000 neighborhood for this car if the title is clean and no serious Carfax issues. Use the two problem areas (window and headlight) as 'negotiating' points in your offer price along with any other 'needs' like tires, etc.... A dealer will charge about $300 for the headlight gear repair and the window might be another few hundred. Figure approximately $500 in your negotiations. Also make sure the top is not ripped or binding, and that it operates smoothly. Convertible tops are never a cheap fix when done professionally. Good luck!
