Default HELP, Clutch not disengaging and squeak coming from bellhousing

A few months ago, I was driving my car and i put the clutch in and i heard a pop and i had no clutch. I thought it was the slave since it was squeaking from below when it was actuated and the clutch would not disengage. i just finished putting everything back in after changing out the slave, and it still does not disengage and i still hear the squeak. now im questioning if it was the clutch, since it was in pretty good shape apparantly I put it back in.

have any of you had this squeaking problem? the sound is clearly coming from the bellhousing.

Does the pedal have consistent resistance/effort when pressed? When you say you had no clutch what exactly did it do? You could have a damaged pressure-plate. Did the diaphragm fingers have equal height when you last looked at it? Or were the fingers uneven? Let me know as this will shed more light on the issue. Thanks,
