Both guys are good friends of mine. My buddy in the c5z didn't say anything aboout me getting the jump. I may have slightly got the hit, but it just looks really bad because of all the instant torque my car makes compared to his centrifugal setup. Also, when I hit against him i immediately let out of it and get back in it due to spinning. Both races were about 55mph rolls and I started in 3rd gear for each.

Yea I was gonna say, seemed like you started a bit low in the races. I'm guessing that's due to traction issues lol.

The ZR1 is bad *** and moved out! Evo didn't brake boost did he? Would have made for a more interesting race.

Nice runs I was hoping the C5Z would have some work for the ZR1... I wouldnt mind a run vs a bolt on ZR1 once I'm broken in and fully tuned.

yes still on stock rubber and only was in the high 50's that day, (anything is better than the single digit temps out right now.)

Evo wasn't brake boosting but he has very little turbo lag with his setup. I dont know enough about evos to tell you about his setup but his car definitely spools up very quick and he no lift shifts the hell out of that car.

Whats kinda power is your c5 making? Come down this way when the weather gets nicer and you're car is all ready to rip and maybe we could do a couple pulls.

Expecting upper 6xxx once done in 2 weeks, but then a pulley swap/injectors/new tune in April for mid 7xx. Prior to the new combo it made 598/561 @11psi. Now going fully forged etc...

For sure bro I will stay in touch once done and we'll bring a few cars down. Friend has a CTS V coupe getting a NRE motor with Mast heads installed, already running a Whipple 2.9 and Meth. Sure he wouldnt mind a run also a nice TT 370Z with a forged short block upper 6's on mid boost for him. Lower 7's on race gas. Could be fun LOL

Yea sometimes its hard to have both people time the jump right especislly when your not used to how the other person normally reacts... (my one buddy goes on the 2nd beep every time so when i run him I do too and we always hit at the same time its hilarious)

Did not buy the car myself as I am still in school, but I am very appreciative to have it and try to be somewhat responsible with it...
