Default 390 ci and a edelbrock proflo xt or a holley mini ram with a turbo?

Anybody run this combo with some 317 heads? I have my 408 sold and I am going to get a AES 390 instead. Anyways I was thinking about using an edelbrock proflo xt intake or a Holley mini ram. I don't want to lose any low end power, since it is going into a heavy vehicle and will be a daily driver with 9.5:1 and pump gas at lower boost, and 110 with higher boost.

DO NOT use the holley mini ram....you have to cut the cowl for the edelbrock intake so you mite as well do the holley high rise....

I only need to massage the cowl on my trailblazer ss to fit the edelbrock. My Question was will I loose tq down low in a heavy vehicle with those intakes?

My buddy had a 383 with the pro flo and s480 turbo and street tuned and it spooled faster with that combo then the ls6 intake. He sold the pro flo and is getting the Holley HR.

Either a high ram or pro flow. The mini is a disaster

I have run both, Both great intakes.
the Proflo cheaper and much easier to find than the holley. I'm looking for Hi-Ram now but no luck and the funny thing is i'm Holley dealer.

Thanks guys for the info. I will probably get the edelbrock, since it is more readily available, and is not as tall (fitment) and would fit under the stock hood better.
