Default Loose steering

I just wanted to give some people a heads up if they ever have to replace their rack and pinion like i just recently did. I had some loose steering about an 1/8" of play and it was corrected by really torquing down the bottom bolt on the steering shaft or as some people call it the intermediate shaft. Another thing if you ever have to replace the system at all and don't have a good power steering cooler i strongly recommending adding one. I added a derale 13222 frame rail cooler and it fits nicely on the core support. Hope somebody finds this helpful at some point. Can't thank this site enough with the amount of information it has.

Good to know, thanks. After I loosened my shaft for a header install, it only got back to 90% good.
