My Lq4/T56 Fox Body track visit *vids* Just thought I would share my setup with those who are on the fence about doing the swap. Before I built this I had a ls1/t56 rx7 and a ls1/t56 s10, this is by far the funniest swap yet.
Details
-stock 01 lq4 bottom end, ported and milled 243 heads with brian tooley springs, eps 226/234 113 cam, edelbrock pro flo intake and throttle body, kooks 1 7/8 swap headers, 3" xpipe with borla xr-1
-mild built t56 with spec 3 clutch
-sn95 with exploxer 31 spline trac loc, north race cars/moser fox width axles, 4.10 gears
Motor pull
Nitrous pull
First trip to the track with this car and it was packed so only got to make a couple passes. Tach messed up in the car so had to shift by ear and using the window switch thats mounted on the floor.
Go prob from fastest pass of the day (friend hasnt figured out how to rotate the videos yet lol)
Tried to make a nitrous pass and couldnt shift it fast enough without a tach.
Good friend making a pass against my home town rival ( he couldnt find 4th gear)
