Default "Service Engine Soon" light, ideas?

The other day my Service Engine Soon light comes on. I was a block away from Advance Auto Parts, so I dropped by and had them check the code. If memory serves me right it was P0430 code, which has to do with exhaust/catalytic I think?

From the sounds of it, the code it's throwing is not too serious, but I want to get it fixed. Do I just need a new catalytic converter?

P0430/P0420 simply means that oxygen storage capacity of the cat is below the desired threshold. This is a common code for '00+ F-bodies. Mine had this a couple of years ago, but I don't have a sniffer test to pass so I just disabled the code and forgot about it. If you have to pass an exhaust gas sniffer test, then you'll have to deal with cat replacement.
