Default PV clearance from a 114 to 112 LSA

I just put a 232/230 595/590 114 XER cam in my TA and its a very nice cam. produces good numbers drives almost STOCK around town with tuning. It does have alot up top. So with it being as mild as it is I'm thinking I could go bigger and on a 112 to "widen' the powerband up a little (from the crzy camshaft dis I can't understand I guess it technically doesn't do this but you know what I mean.)

Heads have been resurfaced .005 and the pistons were not fly cut, I'd rather not take the heads off again or I think I'd try a G5X3 on a 112. I may just try it anyways cut the pistons and have the heads milled. But I'm thinking a similar cam as the one I have on a 112 grind. I mean really its pretty easy to swap out may even put this cam in my 98

So PV clearance is fine now, is the 112 going to change that????

Thanks!

Bobby

Default

114lsa cams have more P to V clearance than similarly sized 112lsa cams. Depending on ow much your heads are milled, that cam (232/230 112) should fit.
