as the tittle says what should i look for when buying a use turbo. im new in the FI game so any info would be really appreciated.

I have a turbo kit which consist on hot, cold side, intercooler, BOV, westgate,..minus the turbo the kit is for a t6 gt45/55 turbo and i came across this,(http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/pts/3418695477.html) what do you guys think?

In and out shaft play, see if the compressor wheel and exhaust wheel are fully intact and have no chunks missing out of them

I always look for in and out play, or obvious easy of motion to the sides. Ive always been told a little side to side is ok.

From to turbo to turbo, new to new, the Turbonetics i bought new was tighter then the new borg i bought.
