Hey guys,

Finally got the engine out of my 1999 FRC corvette. I purchased the car from a close friend, and it had a "knock" that turned out to be the clutch.

He told me it was a 402 from Texas Speed, but when we got the heads off we measured the bores and it is .030 over.

It is currently at Best Engines in Texarkana Tx. getting bearings/rings and reassebled. I will double check with Chuck to see if this is a 402 or 408 on Monday when he gets it apart.

What I do know:

Engine had 6000 miles on it when I pulled it out
Diamond forged pistons that achieve 9:5 to 1 with a 62cc chambered head
H beam forged rods
Eagle Forged crank
ARP Rod bolts
ARP main studs


Cam specs will be verified this week when he gets it all apart.

Also have a set of PRC/Edelbrock heads I will sell with it, and have everythin to sell as a complete engine not including covers or oil pan.
