Told myself I would never sell this one, but I'm moving back to Austin, TX at the end of the year and want to buy a house.

1931 Ford Model A
100% steel body
Rusty, but no rot. Some pin holes here and there. It's a Ratrod....
Originally a 4 Door Sedan
Chopped
Channeled
2x3 Z'd frame
Lexan windows (windshield, 1/4 and rear only)
*Clear Texas title in my name.
**Car is registered as an Antique.
***It is low, loud, bare bones, and not for the faint of heart.

Drivetrain:
1965 327ci SBC
-.40 over
-Custom ground flat tappet cam (I don't have paperwork for the cam)
-.550 lift springs (new)
-883 Heads
-Weiand Dual high rise intake
-Dual Holley 4160's
-Walker radiator
Th350 3 Speed Automatic
-Cooler mounted under body next to transmission (under passenger seat)
1967 8.2 Rear end (drum)
-Open rear end
-3.3x ring gear

Suspension
Suicide front end (leafs) with lever action shocks
-Disc conversion
-Steel braided lines
Suicide rear end (leafs)
-4 link
-No shocks in the rear

Fuel
-10 GAL cell mounted behind seats
All AN fittings

Wheels/Tires
-Black Steelies (not 100% true, but balanced as good as they will) ****Lifetime free balancing
-Coker wide white walls

*Recent maintenance*
Motor was pulled apart last season and freshened up end of 2011.

Holley 4160's rebuilt in 2010 (Maybe 1500 miles since)
-Both carbs rebuilt using Holley kits

8.2 rebuilt last month
-Axle savers installed (axle shafts have flat spots on original bearing location)
-Pinion bearing
-Inner axle bearings
-Fluid changed each season

The bad:
-Rear main seal leaks a little. It's been leaking for a few years, but not bad enough for me to replace. IMO.
-Transmission pan leaks a little sometimes when sitting for a long period of time.. A new pan gasket would fix this, but it is very minimal.
-Has a few bad valve guide seals. I didn't replace them when I put the new springs in, and now it smokes slightly while idling only! This is not a ring problem. Motor makes great compression, and does not smoke during acceleration.

Car gets more looks and pictures than any other high end car that I have ever seen. I have too many toys and another build going on right now. It's time for someone else to enjoy this.

***Cash only. Cash only. Cash only. Don't think I can make that any more clear.

$11,500
It does need a little work, but it can be driven as is. Car is worth every penny, and the value will only continue to increase.

Rebuilding the rear end

I cut the roof off last fall. I was going to redo the cage, and put a snap on canvas top on it.
