Default Autocross With a drag setup

Ok guys i want to try autoss it will probably be just be one Avent i have two camaro one is a 98 z is has strange coilovers up front double adjustable strange shocks on the rear s60 4.30 gear with spool no front sway bar umi suspension including drag bar will this work?
The second camaro is a 96 5.3 swap auto 3600 stall 4.10 gear stock suspension would this one butter I don't really want to change much on either 1 of them just because there's nowhere to autocross close I have to drag strips witha in a 100 miles of me so drag racing as my thing

Take the one that drives like a MANUAL. If you like Autocross, then you can change your setup.

Use the car with the stock suspension, its will be WAY easier to drive and control and Id bet put down way better times. You will have a blast, and Id bet get hooked on it
Also FYI you can set up your car to handle and ride very well while also still being able to launch ok, but it wont be with drag parts...

Thanks guys ill take the 5.3 car then
there is a Optima battery ultimate Street Car Challenge in Des Moines Iowa at the goodguys car show i got to hang out and navigate for 1 of the drivers at the Sandhills open road challenge and Arnold Nebraska last year thought I would go and race with them this year one time

yeah a spool wont get you very far on the course.

Hastings has a pretty nice road course its not much further than kearney.

Grab a front sway bar (even stock is better than none) to add when you do runs.

I can't imagine a spool would be any fun on an autox course. You can probably leave the auto in first and be ok. I have a 6 speed but can usually do a course without leaving first.

My car has a stock stall and I do autocrosses in first gear no problem. With a 3600 stall you might want to put it in second, otherwise you're gonna be roasting the tires and sliding all over the place.

Should be fun though.

South of Omaha has both so check out 1320
S ice cream and drag race all night then road race the next day

Agree with the others, stock suspension and no spool will do you the best.
