Springs for an LS1 A-body
I'm doing an LS1 swap into a 71 LeMans and was looking at Summit's lowering springs while I have the suspension apart. Since the LS1 is much lighter than the original all iron engine, will the car sit nose high? Should I cut a coil?

I have these...http://www.summitracing.com/parts/be.../model/skylark
Although I have to admit I havent had the engine in the car and on the ground with them in. Worse case you just cut a coil up front. Thats not an option in the rear though. Keep in mind you might need adjustable upper control arms in the rear to keep your pinion angle happy. Not a big deal though...

After I did my Swap on my 71 Chevelle. I used Hotchkis (SBC 1 1/2+" drop) springs and B-Body spindles (another 1 1/2"+ drop), the combo should have lowered it 3-4 inch.. but once completed, the car was about stock height. I had to cut the Hotchkis spring a 1/2 coil to get it down to where it look right.
Just adding what I had to work with.
