Default manual valve body

ok so i want to do a 4l80 swap in my SS silverado here in germany, since i cant get a tuned pcm to do the swap i think switching to a manual controls is my best bet. i just dont know any good shifters. summit only has 1 but i can see if its like a ratch or has the same funictions as the lever on the tree just making all the controls on the ground. any good brands for the valve bodies, and the shifters woudl be great

What do you mean by "since i cant get a tuned pcm to do the swap"?
What year is the Silverado? What engine and trans are in it now?
Is this a race vehicle or mostly street car?
I doubt you would want manual controls for a street car.
There are various PCM updates, converters and stand-alone controllers available to give you full automatic control.

I don't know any of these details, but answer the basic questions of what you have now and I am sure others will fill in those details.

right now i have the stock 60 in the SS. i want to upgrade to the 4l80 but this requires a 2nd speed sensor (i belive is the name of it) and then a tune to make it function 100%. very commen modbut i cant get it tunned unless i get a email tuned because i current am stationed in germany.
yes it is a street truck it will be getting boosted in the near future. i only want to have the manual while im here and untill i can get it fully tuned the right way, just trying ot get the tranny up to snuff for a boosted motor

The updated info should help someone answer your questions.
Since you mention a 2nd speed sensor (the input speed sensor on the 4L60E), I suspect this is a 2006 or later.
Please confirm the year of your SS.

PLEASE - Who can help. (Its not me)

You could purchase another pcm and have it tuned and sent to you. Is the truck stock otherwise?

Yeah, I think some tuners can do this on an exchange basis.
I could be wrong, but I don't think any '05 had the input speed sensor yet.

Someone educate me, but wouldn't a manual valve body be needed to run the 4L80E in manual mode as the OP mentioned?

the 4l60 had 1 speed sensor while the 80's have 2. the wiring is easy but the pcm is the funny part. i dont even know any companys that do the pcm tune. jus thte ss guys said they took there to a dyno and had them do the tune
they said after wiring it all up it shifted but didnt shift properly and the shift pressor was lacking (kinda a hit or miss but not 100% great) so a pccm tune is pretty manditory and yes the ss is stock but after i sort out the drive chain i want to boost this bad boy

Ive done 3 80e swaps. The tuning is not difficult with the proper tools. I would be happy to tune a spare pcm for you and send it over, I just need to know more about your current setup and tune. You must add a vss plug to the harness, Id be happy to walk you through this as well. Pm me if your interested. I do efilive tuning.
