What are you guys setting your pump on, or recommending for a boosted car seeing 16-18 psi.

The little switch sets 1-8 by the looks of it. Not sure where to set the damn thing. I know usually too much would probably be alot worse than too little.

Thanks in advance gurus.

Depends on how many nozzles and what size they are. I run 2- 15's and the box is set to 6. That's alor for 93 octain and 20lbs which is over 1k rwhp.

I have a single nozzle right before the throttle body about 6 inches straight in front of it. It is the stock size nozzle that it came with.

What would be a safe setting. about 4 I guess?

I am using the alky with dual m10 nozz and i'v noticed that if i turned the number up the nozzels will spray more early and more richer from keeping it set at lower number .

If you have an o2 wideband sensor and imo it is a must you can just check the change in afr value while you are crusing or at a dead stop .
If you dont have a wideband and got a hp tuner you can open the scaner and keep watching the IAT gauge and you will notice the change in value so if you set it high you will finde faster response and more meth has pumped and if you set it low you will find it less faster and lees meth pumped.

Turst me on this : you are going to love the drop in iat .

Like stated above, it all depends on nozzles.

You don't want it coming on too early or it will kill performance. They recommend having it kick on at 2/3 of what you are going to run (roughly) For example. I had mine coming on at 10-12lbs of boost when I was running 15lbs total. It worked great. If I had it come on any earlier it would bog down a little.

Never set the "gain" **** below "4". The electronic activation is less stable below "4".. So at a minimum, set it at "4". This advice came to me from Julio.

I would set it at 6. Then you have to tune in the turn on point and ignitial gain.

When this is all done the VE has to be adjusted. When done you should never/ever feel the methanol come in. Smooth as silk power delivery.

Mine comes in about 4-6lbs and starts dumping hard. You can not feel it come in, no bogging or anything.

+1...

It's all in the tune.

I have my **** all the way to the right...(8).. I see the red light come on abou 2-3 psi and its full green light by 4-5 psi.... I never feel it when driving. The VE table is tuned based on the meth. This is with two 15 nozzles.

Seamless operation and IATs never over 106* on a 80* day on a 4th-5th gear pull at 20+ psi..

These are different than the AIS ones then. AIS you set when you want it to kick on and thats it. It doesn't gradually increase the amount or anything like you guys are talking about.

Probly. We only use Alky control. Love the ramp in, stainless lines and dead reliable.

Plus.......Julio is a god damn g-mac!

I'm setting up my current setup off of a MAF and converting the signal over. This will be the first car we've done like that. It should work out pretty well.
