Default Should I try fix my own tune or just re-tune from scratch???

I have EFI-Live but no open VIN License's, and no experience on gas engines. I have done some diesel tuning on my Duramax so I am not totally in the dark on tuning.

My car has trouble finding its idle after you nuetrel rev it or are coasting to a stop. It surges up and down and will often die. I have searched and found other people having similar issues with modified LS3's but I am not sure if this would be a hard thing to figure out myself or if I should just take it and have it retuned by a professional. Runs perfect most of the time just doesnt like to be reved up and then let all the way out of the throttle.

I guess I'm looking for moral support if I try it on my own lol

Should I invest the $125 in a VIN License and go for it or just pay someone to redo the whole tune.

Thanks

Buy the license, post the tun file and some data logs. Someone can help w/ the fix. Then, you load it, and see how it goes. You may not hit it the first go around. The license will allow you to reload til it's right... A LOT cheaper in the long run.

Also, a visit to the EFILIVE forum w/ the problem, the tune and log files, would be a good idea....
