well i had the zex wet system and it was universal worked great. the dry system requires tuning to add the extra fuel through the injectors when the system is engage, so I dont see why it would't work for you as long as you tune it.

as far as timing, I believe your suppose to retard 2* @ 100 shot, and another 2* every 50 from there but I know with a 75 shot you don't need timing retard and I got away with 100 shot without pulling timining either.

A stock engine could easily accommodate that. That is no guarantee what your "built" engine can handle though.

On top of that even the best kit can blowup a motor if misshandled.

Something like the Mallory 685 is recommended for window switch, spark based rev limit and timing retard functions.

dry nitrous for an LT1 is not a good idea for the avg person

the MAF/PCM will not compensate fast enough to add the extra fuel....now the LS1 is a different story

Please get a decent WET kit, it will give you room to grow and be better suited for the platform you are going to be using it on

ya ive been researching and its saying with a ls1 tht maf sensor would add the fuel but the lt1 will not.

would a ls1 maf work on a lt1 and be the same affect

no because the pcm is using the maf data....the issue is the pcm more than the maf...now for around $2000 you can switch to the ls1 pcm or you can get a wet kit

something like that...also dont get caught up in the zex "auto adjust A/F ratio" hype. there is nothing inside the zex nmu that monitors air fuel ratio.

The LS1 MAF ended up superseding the LT1 one so they are pretty much the same. What he is saying is the LT1 pcm is slow to process compared to the LS1.
