New member to the family! Pictures tomorrow!
Hi guys!
I recently bought an arctic white 1998 z28, it currently has 80496 miles. The car is well optioned(leather interior, 8 speaker stereo, etc). I will post pictures tomorrow, if possible, and will also use this thread to post my progress. In order to give me something to start with, can you guys give me some advice on how to remove rust in the engine bay, as I have some (about 3-6 inches square total) surface rust inside it, and it being winter, I dont want the frame rails to be eaten apart this winter, i bought 16 FL OZ of loctite naval jelly, and would like advice on how to proceed.

For now, I'm trying to ride through the winter unscathed. I have a jug of Naval Jelly for rust, and about 7 tarps from harbor freight. I still have a few things to take care of to get the car in the condition Id prefer- for instance, I have to replace the driver side panel trim for the door that surrounds the window switches(It is cracked), and I have a tear in the drivers seat that I should really get fixed(Scotch tape does wonders)
