Default Help me pick a converter.. K5 lq4 38" tires

I was running a 4 speed, but I'm swapping over to a TH400. My setup is as follows:

Lq4, 228R cam, 112lsa, mild port work, truck intake, 42# injectors
4.10 gears
38" tire

I was going with a 220-2400 converter, I want a decent launch rpm, but I also drive the truck on the street alot. Before at 55 mph I was at about 2300RPM in 4th.

Also, my research thus far shows I can use my stock 6.0/4l80 flexplate with a standard th350/400 converter, so long as I use the spacer... Correct?

Thanks guys..
