Innovate Wideband Installation
So, I've been through things like this a few times before...
Got an innovate LC-1 setup, with the computer interface for datalogging. Looks like a fun little guy to help tune with.
My thing is this, I've read the instructions, they seem pretty un-legit. In fact, they seem downright undescriptive.
I would love to see a how to thread on this, in fact, if anyone knows of a good "how to" could you direct me to it?
If not, I'll do this the hard way and then make one they hopefully make into a sticky.

I will say if you're not installing it into an existing bung make sure there are no air leaks in the weld. I had a pin hole leak that was throwing mine off and even emailed innovate but of course they couldn't be bothered to email me back. Hit that tiny hole with the welder and now it is good to go.

Weld the bung first then take the car home and wire it up. Mine was wired into the power for the radio. I had mine a foot away from my cutout, which I never opened and it destroyed it. Read 22.2 most of the time. Also the bung they gave me sucked, must have been an accident cause the 02 sensor didn't really stick into the exhaust all the way.
I just switched to an aem. I will admit the numbers are a little more wide spread. My innovate read 14.8 to 15.2 and never more or less when cruising or idling and my aem is a little more erratic and will read 14.5 to 15.6 or so. Just my experience.

*exception, if you have an ECM wideband you can put it wherever they recommend the installation. it is not pressure sensitive.

We obviously got different manuals. LoL.
Its pretty annoying when someone says "the manual did a good job" when I ask for any "how to" threads, especially when 4 people say it.
HOWEVER,
Thank you to the others who had creative input.
Got it figured out, I was missing the calibration step portion of the paperwork and thats how I received it from the ebay seller, "used like new". lol.

I have two different LC1's, with different version manuals. One is much easier to understand than the other, namely in the calibration and setup steps. But it sounds like you got your problem sorted out, just thought I'd share that not all their manuals are created equal.
