Default wet sanding question

I would like to wetsand the tailights and panel in between. I was wondering if its necessary to use a buffer or can it be done by hand to get the lite scratches out?

By hand will work well but just be sure to use very fine sandpaper. Also to shine up taillights I was shocked with how well those buffing ***** you put on the end of a drill work with some polish.

ANY wet sanding of taillights is going to leave some amount of haze, you'll need to go back after and polish them, or if you prefer a more extreme fix clear coat them after polishing.
