Washer?

Washer? I was wondering if instead of the oem dustboot i could use a washer for the upper strut mount to rest on, sort of like how the koni shocks have? I have a moogs dustboot and bumstop but there is no place for the upper strut mount to rest on. If i can use a washer does anyone know of a good size to use? Thanks for reading.
