Default Anyone seen or used the 1000 cfm MAF ends found on ebay?

I found these on ebay, VMS maf ends---- www.NOT-A-SPONSOR.com.org.gov.net.edu

Im looking at porting the stock TB and getting the stock MAF ends ported, but these look kind of nice, with color choice.

Any experiance with these?

No, I don't, but here are two things to consider.

One, "flows xxx CFM" is pure marketing bullshit until
they tell you "at yyy pressure drop". The stock MAF
will flow 1000CFM too. With a heinous drop across
the "screen". You could remove your screen and get
most of the benefit for no cost.

Two, no representation is made regarding how badly
these ends will jack the instrument's reading. With
no center vane, these will, definitely.

"Fits". Yeah. So what?

I see alot of people happy with the ported TB from Potz on ebay, how are his maf ends? Seems like all I really need to do is pull the screens? Any benifit from haveing the maf ends opened up by someone like potz?

Running potz P&P tb and maf ends, no problems 02 ws6. OF course that's it haven't done any other mods intake wise than a slp lid. Couldn't tell a difference in just the tb and maf ends because I did headers at the same time, so unfortunately I couldn't tell you if it is "worth it"

Also wondering whether I should just get the potz p&p tb or if I should also add on his maf ends. Any users with experience with these?

I also have Potz TB & the MAF ends. I definitely felt better throttle response when I put both on at the same time. A little later on when I got a cam, headers, heads, intake and all that I got a Frost mail order tune and he told me its really difficult to tune with ported MAF ends and he recommended I go back to stock. I told him to make the tune as if I had the stock ones back on but still haven't gotten around to going back to stock.
