Daily driver stall for longevity.
As the title says im looking for a new stall to match with my head and cam swap im looking at. Here is my problem. im looking at the TSP torguer V2 with 243 heads with mild port work. my all accounts i should be looking around 430rwhp(just a rough est based on what i have seen from similar setups) i have been told that the yank 3600 matched with 3.73 gears would be the way to go. my question is how with this affect the life of the motor trans and rear? i would love to have the car last forever(i know it wont happen). i just want to have a fun daily driver that i can sometimes whoop some *** in, but dont have to always worry about when she will fall apart on me.

You'll be fine. Lots of cammed, stalled, geared DD here ..Including me. Just don't drag race everywhere you go on your daily commute. I baby my car when DD..unless I need to unleash on somebody...nice to know the power is their to do so. 3.73s and 3600 and don't look back.

Just be sure you give the trans tune the same or
more attention that you do the motor, and don't
let some clown go all "lean is mean" on your airflow
stuff without a clue that it also starves line pressure
when you lie about air mass.
Because any decent converter will increase the
torque put to all those unfortunate frictions, and
the line pressure GM picked for MPG (pump load)
and comfort, are not what you want for durability
under abuse (er, "enthusiasm").
