ok fellas i have a question. 95 z28 6sp. Can the ecu or pcm be programmed to the cam i put in it?

the cam is a comp cam 290 duration with a .51 lift

very tuneable, just finding someone to do it is the issue, dyno tunes are prefered to mail order tunes. but price and availability is always a figure in deciding

So you bought a Com 7-306-8 cam without first doing some research about supporting mods?
Do yourself a favor and return the cam if you can, and if you can't, put it in a closet for a year while you begin to grasp the basics and plan supporting mods.

Go to IKEA and make yourself a nice but overpriced reading lamp. I suggest you also pick up a copy of All The Knowledge in The Known Universe Pertaining to LT1 Engines by LS1tech and give it a good read. If your head doesn't explode you can go ahead and cam your car.
