Default driverside under dash RPM signal wire?

I know its pin 10 on the ECU...but do i really have to run a wire all the way the ECU under the hood?

I mounted my raptor shift light on my A-pillar

isnt there a closer RPM signal wire some where under the drivers kick panel?

thanks

There are more than one white wire. I just did my Raptor shift light yesterday. Just ran it all the way to the Wiring harness. I didn't want to take out the dash. I had my cluster out, and most of the pieces that are the front of the car minus the dash to find a better and closer place to run the tach wire. Said screw it, had a hole behind the glove box under the ECU I ran it.

well crap then.

thats right!....once the gauge cluster is out..there is still another panel to remove.

screw it then....i guess i'll have to find a hole to go threw and tap into pin 10 on the ECU.

Remove the ECU and its plastic bracket. There is a grommet under there that goes in behind the glove box by the passenger side kick panel. I just split the green wire from the other two and ran it behind everything tucked up nicely. Should of taken pics while doing it and don't feel like tearing it apart to show lol.

ok im stuck.....was Pin10 a green wire? second from the left of the red connector.
I got my wire ran I just wanna make sure i tap into the right one.

nevermind I found it....its a white wire p10
I just started with a white and my second white wire was it.

Raptor lights sets itself but lighting 6 then 6 then flashes all lights. for a 6600 setting at first startup. I thought i screwed something up. LOL

I set it for like 4000 just to see where it would light and it comes on just a tad early ive noticed but im ok with that...as long as im in the ballpark of 6500 Im good.
