Default federal mogul?

Hello all i was wondering if anyone here had any experience with the brand Federal mogul are they any good. Also if anyone here has ever deatl with

GM SDPC
PERFORMANCE PARTS they are one of the sponsors over to the right-----)
do they sell quality parts are they a good company to dealt with for good quality parts for an ls1?? please let me know if you have any experiance with sdpc or federal mogul.

They're a major manufacturer of parts (bearings, etc.)
and made the "real" Hummer as well as other "industrial"
vehicles (like fire trucks) I believe. Good enough
to be a main supplier to the Big Three. Not to say that
you couldn't specify low quality out of them, but they
are a top notch operation as far as I can see. I'm sure
I've used their parts on SBC rebuilds but not LS1 (knock
on wood).

Scoggin Dickey Performance Parts is a great company, very responsive and have alot of knowledge floating around the place. They are competitive in price with other parts outlets........The people in the performance shop area know their stuff hands down, the car sales people are like any others anywhere else......

ok cool i am rebuilding my engine and i saw this kit from them with new pistons, federal mogul bearings gaskets and a few other things for under $400 it sounded pretty sweet so i just wanted to check to see what you guys thought of those companies.

Just out of curiousity. what is the kit number? Scoggin Dickey will treat you right.......Talk to Nicky Fowler if you have a chance, this guy really knows his **** about anything GM. Very cool guy.

cool thanks i am not sure the kit is in my magasine i'll take a look at it when i get home and post it up. I send them an email last week requesting some info so i'll see what they tell me.

ok here are a couple of teh #'s for the 350 mkp630c, mkhd630c, mkhf630c, mkf630c, they range from about $289.95-$439.95 they come with gaskets, timing chain and gears and pistons, and bearings.
