Default Help me pick a head unit..

Figured I'd replace my head unit. Car had an old alpine unit in it when I got it, works decent the blue is kind of annoying though. Doesn't even have an auxiliary port! Anyone know of a nice head unit, doesn't have to have all the bells and whistles, USB would be nice though. Preferably red or white lighting. Checked a few on best buy site but didn't really see anything. Any help is appreciated!

I like the Kenwood KDC-352U, or its lower end counterpart, the 252U. The 352U changes color to whatever you want, has 3 sets of pre-outs, USB, AUX, and a HPF built in. 252U stays red, had 1 set of pre-out, USB, AUX, and not so many options. I've been a big fan of Kenwood's over the past couple years, and the 252 and 352 are on clearance at Best Buy right now.

I was pretty happy with how my Panasonic CQ-C7103U worked and operated. It had aux input and controls for my sub amp input. Also I like the spin **** control compared to pressing buttons.

a lot of Pioneers are Red, not just the "low end" models, I have a Pioneer DEH-P6200BT, while it is missing one or 2 features (dimmer and A2DP bluetooth audio streaming) it is by no means low end and it matches the firebird interior perfectly as can be seen in this clip
(ignore what the video was about).

I'd look at the Kenwood exceleon units. The kdcx397 is a great budget unit. It's got variable illumination, USB, 2 year warranty, and a bunch of other features.

This is what I have in mine and absolutely love it. Pioneer would be best for the buck.

I found this HU for $80 bucks brand new out here in LA. Definitely recommend.
