doesnt make sense. if anything he did just as good or better in last video before the e85. In the last video he gets smoked from 40 only because he was in 1st gear from 40mph.. this time he starts in 2nd and that seems like the only difference. The gtr had to have added boost or dropped more weight something seems off.

What doesn't make sense? That GTR traps high 130s and runs 9s....

The boost gauge on the GT-R was tapering up top to about 16psi telling me it was already at max boost. Stock turbos are only efficient to 22psi in the mid range and taper down to 16psi up top. I guarantee TRC didn't add any boost.

Read the mod list, the ZR1 had a pulley, intake, headers and was on E85.

i would expect a zr1 which supposedly traps over 130 stock with headers, intake, pulley and e85 to be able to run 140....Thats well into the 600s which should be plenty of power to run that mph for that car

Believe me nothing has changed in the gtr since the last run. Best pass has been 10.004@ 137mph. With a best MPH of 138

TRC's car ran 10.01 @ 139mph. PDV's car ran 10.07 @ 137mph

Also I found this rematch vid of PDV's car vs the Yellow Z06 people said he jumped against:

That GTR traped 139... Not sure if that was with or without the weight reduction. First run the GTR seems to get a slight jump but on the 70 roll it looked like the ZR1 was going to reel him in, before he let out early. Still impressive for a completely stock car with 4 mods and e85 no weight reduction or nothing.

I thought the GTR let out early on the 1st and 2nd run just as the ZR1 stopped his pull.
