Fox body swap
I'm wanting to do a ls1 foxbody. I have a 98 corvette engine and the plans r doing the ai 241hcr heads and custom cam fast intake and full bolt ons. Wondering if anybody did this swap with similar engine mods with track times.the vette was running 7.30s 1/8 mile with bolt ons I would love to run 6.90-7.00 with my mods in the fox body. Open to all input and suggestions

The vette weighs prolly right around 3300LB give or take some. Im sure your fox is much lighter depending on what all you have removed.
Once you get traction and a good launch, its all about the power to weight ratio. Honestly it shouldnt be a problem for you to obtain your goals. Especially since you have a stout differential in the car!

That should be very doable. My mustang doesn't even have headers. I should see some 7.40's on motor only this year. My calculated horse power is only 335 now. I added a picture of the fuel filter/fuel pressure regulator I used to supply the correct fuel pressure 55 PSI to the LS1. That along with the Walbro 255 fuel pump I have steady fuel pressure even when spraying a 150 shot of nitrous!

Theres quite a few swapped foxes on here, but I think most of us are running turbo kits or are still in the build process.not big on 1/8 mile whats that equate to in the 1/4? Id think a heads cam ls1 in a light fox could run tens set up right

What trans are you going with? What headers? cooling system? whats your budget? The engine is the easy part of the swap. Once you get the kmember and motor mounts it drops right in. The unexpected things will kill your budget. Do your self a favor and buy a AJE kmember and DO NOT SKIMP on a wiring harness. I know this from experience!!!
