So I've recently installed a new transmission and stall in the car along with the existing cooler. When checking the fluid level it's just over the cold line when starting it this morning, then after driving for half an hour (with fluid temps getting to just about 120*) it was just about the same.

Is that not hot enough to check the fluid level for the hot setting? I don't want to be running it with not enough fluid?
