Default Maybe dumb a/c question

I have a 97 Trans Am, with the lt1, and I'm confused about the a/c compressor mounting. I currently only have two bolts on the front holding it on. (I have to order the third for the front that is missing) But I keep seeing mentions of a rear bracket for the compressor. Am I missing something here? Is this only on the corvette or is my car supposed to have one?

There is a bracket that goes from the rear of the compressor to the block. I can get a picture of it for you as I never put it back on when I reinstalled my motor (left the ac compressor hooked to the lines when removing) While I'm sure it's good to have it on, I haven't had any problems yet.

Edit: Shbox has a picture.
