I have a 95 z/28 six speed. I can't turn off the ASR. I press the button but nothing happens. I thought maybe the light on the dash may not be working but after testing to see if the wheels will spin it is stuck on. The button doesn't appear broke and I have tried changing the fuse for the ASR. Any suggestions?

Perhaps you could pull the fuse.

Wouldn't pulling the fuse permanently disable it? I kind of like it when it's wet outside,keeps me from getting in trouble

Yeh you're right it does come in handy sometimes. Just trying to help. But pull it out and put it back in. You never know how simple some fixes are sometime. Worth a try.

I pulled the fuse and the light on the dash didn't come on, but the ASR did turn off. I am starting to wonder if the button works but the light on the dash doesn't.

Try doing a search on the matter. I'm sure its not the first time this has happened to someone. Keep us posted just in case we might have this problem in the future.
