Hey Guys,

Just want to run two options by you guysthat im stuck on before going any further... The car is a 2011 camaro ss 6 speed.. te question is: Centrifugal SC or Turbo? I have been doing my research on both and once added together, there outcomes are manly the same. Only planing on doing mild engine mods (Intake Manifold, Head work)

Centrifugal SC:
- Either Vortech or Procharger

Turbo:
- Hot and Cold side piping bought
- Turbo, Intercooler, Wastegate, etc... Would all be bought spretaly.

Prices would both end up being the same and I am shooting for 650rwhp. For now..

What do you guys think?

Build it yourself and a turbo setup will be much cheaper

People have been telling me it will be way more expensive!! And ive been researching parts and adding numbers and i dont see super super expensive spending...

Only way the turbo route will get expensive is if someone fabricates everything for you. Even at that, it will still probably be cheaper than a procharger.

All piping will be bought for a good price... Im comparing all of my numbers to a completed turbo kits that rounds around... 8-10k

I run a procharger and i wld say turbo as well. U do understand at that 650rwhp the FI is only half of your expense you will have fueling, tranny, rear end, motor, tuning, suspension, 650rwhp is alot to push stock parts. Maybe things are different on a 2011 camero, I know a 4l60e and a 10bolt wont hold that for very long. GLWYB.

Post up your parts list. It really depends on how much power you want. More power = more money. Since you got a new Camaro, i would just do injectors, add another fuel pump, buy hp tuners along with all the turbo parts and build it yourself.

Ya thats what i was planing on doing. Im going to find a place that sells only hot and cold side piping. Then buy the rest separately.

PT7675.
tial bov and wastegate.
4inch intercooler.
eboost2.
65lbd fast injectors.
ZL1 fuel.
oil lines, vacuum lines, gauge pod.. etc.
*Tuned by Frost

...and HP range 625-650rwhp for now.. after that some engine work will be done. + lvl 4 axles +clutch +some car weight reduction

Only thing i would change in your list is injectors. They will work for now but in the future they might run out of room. I would go with the siemens deka 80's
