ASR Light Issue
To keep it short and sweet, I unplugged the plug into the ASR module near the battery. Obviously the light is always on "ASR OFF" and I wanted to get rid of it. So i bought a 2.7ohm resistor and mounted the ends into the plug, and voila! It went off, UNTIL i started moving. Once i drive/move the car an inch, the light pops back on and stays on. Any easy way to get rid of the light, rather than remove the bulb in the gauge cluster or having it tuned out? Thanks.

Temporarily I just covered the light with a small piece of electrical tape. Still want to know why the light comes back on. Otherwise Ill be forced to remove the bulb, and Im afraid to pop off the gauge needles.

Can the bulb be simply removed or broken, I know it's soldered in. Will it cause other issues. It looks to be in a circuit with other bulbs. I'm no electrical engineer though!
