I got bored today and went down to Advanced Auto, picked up some 3M tape and flat black spraypaint and did this to the grille...a-la ZL1..I love it

Looks good and so does the grill. In my opinion you should of left the mirrors black.
But overall sweet ride!

the mirrors are only black on 98-99 cars.


BTW: KICKASS ride man! i love the ZL1 grille idea.

I know I'm bringing this thread back from a while ago, but RedHotZ28, can you give me an idea on how you did your grille? IE: what grille did you start out with? What did you mask off when you painted it? And is that the blue bowtie from the 69 chevelle I've read about on here? Anybody know the part number for the bowtie (if you can still order it) and the best place to get a grille like this? Thanks in advance. BTW, awesome looking car!
