Default hot cam and nitrous

whats some of the best 1/4 mile times have you seen running a hot cam and nitrous?
i went 11.3@119 last night haveing some problems. shooting for mid high 10's on 100 shot then going to through the 200 pills at it

motor is a .30 over stock rebuild dart pro 1's and a hot cam

Congrats on the 11.3s. What does the rest of the slip look like? What kind of problems was you having?

Hotcam with a 200 shot has gone 10's @ 122ish in a 4000+ lb Impala.
Should be easy 10's with the 200 in your car.

Good Lord that Pig is moving on! I cannot wait to get another ltx vehicle.

I would try a 150 shot then step up to the 200 shot. You could possibly hit 10s with the 150 hit.

Just to be clear, I wasn't talking about my car. It was a guy a long time ago that built a 409 LT1 with a Hotcam and put a 200 shot on it. Yes, strange little cam for a stroker, but it worked well in that heavy car.
Mine's gone quite a bit quicker with less cubes, more cam, and less nitrous

I agree completely with dialing it in progressively instead of jumping directly from 100 to 200 shot.

Mine should go 10's easy in 100 shot. The nitrous was cutting in and out and the track was temp was super cold. 1.7 60'

I went 11.97 at 115 1.68 60ft with hot cam and AFR 180cc NA

I question why you spent the money on AFRs and then used the Hotcam.

Well....at least I'll say he got more money's worth with the Hotcam than he did with the heads

Years ago I was running around 11.20's with a full-weight hot cam bolt-on car on a 150 shot. Several years later I added LE2 heads and intake and went 10.80's.
