LS3 - ECS Novi 2200 utilizing a wastegate So my car will be going under the knife again this week over at Straightline Performance in the chicago area. I recently picked up Matt@FSP personal kit ( formerly ECS,Rx) and have been working closely with him on a not so cookie cutter setup.
With my 416 not being able to go in until mid may/July, we are going to maximize boost in the lower curve but still keep my overall boost no more than 14psi.
were going to start with a 2.95(18-19lb) pulley with the tial 46mm wastegate between the head unit and intercooler entry. The purpose of this is to build boost quicker but to limit peak boost. The wastegate will bleed unwanted excessive boost but give us the peak boost in the lower power band.
