Default Firechicken on Front of Car!

Just put the decal of the firechicken on my license plate cover of my WS6, but the middle section (the bird head and body) got stretched when I was putting it on, now there are folds in the decal. Is there any way to fix this other than buying another decal? No instructions came with it, so I found it was easiest to put each section on individually rather than the traditional place-and-peel method used for most decals. Any thoughts, tips or suggestions?

try taking a razor blade and cutting the underside of the folds then just overlap it. It'll take patience. The center section f the decal is a biiatch! its too detailed, and is hard to get right. GL!

how about using a hair dryer? would that not warm the plastic and cause it to shrink some?
