Default keep changing ve table but no difference 2 bar turbo

I'm trying to get the basic driveablitity ironed out in my 5.3 turbo motor. it has an ls6 cam and siemens deka 60lb injectors. Im pretty sure i failed out the maf properly and no matter what i do to the ve table the afr error% stays the same pretty much.

its mainly the idle area and the afr error is usually ~-20% and if i pull out 20% it still stays the same. Can someone look over this and let me know if im missing something?

Im running the 2 bar os and all logging is done with an aem wideband and the sensor is about 18-20" off the downpipe.

change p0101, 0102, and 0103 to mil on first error and see what happens. may not be failing the MAF

Yeah, MAF proably wasn't failed. Also, when you have a VE that's looking like that, something ain't right. Try this one. Check the codes when you get it started. You should be seeing a P0103.

Ding Ding Ding....It has to report that the MAF is failed in order to defer to speed density only.

Also, make sure you have C2901,C2901, and C2903 all to 1 so you fail the MAF as soon as the frequency reachs 1Hz.

I thought I read that the codes P0101-3 had to be set to 2-no mil light? I guess if no error is reported then the computer thinks the maf is still working?

I went ahead and made all the changes so that I can get it dialed in. I wasn't sure if something was wrong with the injector data as well? But who knows since the MAF wasn't properly failed. Here is a new tune that I will try tomorrow and see what it does. I haven't gotten into boost at all until all of this gets ironed out.

Look at this tune. I used the VE table from the B tune you created. Hopefully this will make my life a lot easier.

Can someone please glance at the injector data in the tune. Its really rich at idle and anywhere between 0-30kpa and when i cruise its a little lean maybe 5-7% or its spot on. Im really concerned with the idle areas since the car is idling anywhere from 10.9-11.5 AFR. I would really appreciate any advice or steps in the right direction. The injPW at idle is 1.8ms which is pretty high im sure. I cant get it to go down.

For your flow rate table use this:

Labels 0 5 10 15 20 25 30 35 40 45 50 55 60 65 70 75 80
Flow 66.84 67.28 67.77 68.21 68.64 69.07 69.51 69.94 70.38 70.75 71.18 71.62 72.05 72.42 72.86 73.29 73.66

For your default injector pulse:

Labels 0 400 800 1,200 1,600 2,000 2,400 2,800 3,200 3,600 4,000 4,400 4,800 5,200 5,600 6,000 6,400 6,800 7,200 7,600 8,000
Min InjPW 0.8055 0.8055 0.8055 0.8055 0.8055 0.8055 0.8055 0.8055 0.8055 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000

BTW, you've got it in open loop full time. Don't know if that's your intention or not.

I was just putting it in open loop to see how the VE table was and make any changes to it and then I was going to put it back into closed loop when ECT permits.

I got it going a lot better with those Trans fuel values. It does sound like it has a slight miss at idle though now. I can move the AfR control in te scanner down to 12.5 and it goes away. Also lastly my asr off light and abs inop light kicked in when I started it with that tune. Overall a lot better. Thanks

Just reflash it. The tune itself has nothing to do with those lights.
