Default Headers Help

I'm looking into buying some used Hooker headers but one of the tubes has a dent in it, would this affect performance? Can this be repaired?

It's about 6 inches from the first primary near the first bend

do you have any pics of the dent? or at least a rough idea of how big it is? If it is a small ding then it wont have any noticeable effect on a engine at your power level.

Just by the look of the rusting on the primaries and that ding, would be an instant turn off for me. I wouldn't buy 'em.

That dent is pretty minimal. As I said before, your running at a very low hp level (low flow rate through those pipes) the turbulence that that dent will create will be VERY minimal and will have little/no effect on your power levels across the board.... I also agree that you should blast/repainted them though (not related to the ding). If you are still concerned about the ding, get the dented primary red hot at the dent and run something through there to expand it. USE THE DAMAGE/CORROSION AS LEVRAGE AND GET A GOOD PRICE ON THOSE THINGS!
