Bad hydro slave t-56??
Recently my car has had trouble shifting. I figured low fluid so I checked resiviour. It was low. Filled it up. And day later it was low again. No fluid on line so I assumed the slave was bad( small puddle of fluid under the car after sitting). Pulled trans to see. Def fluid leak inside bell housing is trashed. I Hooked the slave up to test it. Has someone pump pedal while I held it. Honestly figured it would spay fluid but nothing???? I'm baffled to be honest. Where else can the fluid come from?? Again line was dry as bone. Is the slave bad?? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I do agree it's prob slave. But when hooked up and pedal depressed wouldn't I see the it spray or fluid leaking?? I'm replacing the slave regardless. Hell the trans is out would be a fool to not replace it.

You cannot duplicate the pressure it takes to depress pressure plate. As the previous poster said about conditions, all play a role when fluid leakage occurs. If tranny is out then replace slave. Why second guess $60 part when its half a day labor to R&R tranny.
