URGENT: 19 vs 23 rear sway with 35 front!!!! At pick n pull now!!!
I've got a 99 ws6 35mm front sway bar now and need a new rear sway bar, will a 23mm rear sway bar from a 90 formula be too much for my 35 front? I had a stock 19 for years, and am at the junkyard now with both available, any experience running a 23 rear with a 35 front????

All else equal 32/19mm combo is well balanced, and 35/22mm is also well balanced (both being neutral). A 32 (stock) size front with a larger 23mm rear will be a tail happy setup. Try a search.

32 is 1le or up to 99 ws6 size, not stock. And I have tried a search, and I have read threads, and everything is a bunch of bench racers saying blah blah blah and no real experience. Who has actually run a 23mm solid rear sway bar with a 32 solid? I have 99 ws6 front springs (thicker than stock) and stock rear springs, with a 99 ws6 front sway bar and now a 23mm rear. Car weighs 3160 with driver and plan is to cut 1 coil from both front and rear to kill the monster truck look and increase spring rate. I'm "thinking" that the increased spring rate of the ws6 fronts will help offset the huge rear sway bar, but does anyone have any real world experience?

32mm is stock on WS6, Firehawk, and SS cars. 1LE cars got a 35mm front bar.
Where do you think the "bench racers" get that idea from?
Do you have to have first hand experience to know an MS3 cam is a big, choppy cam? Or if you know how things work you can tell from the specs.
I had the stock 32mm front/19mm rear swaybar setup and it was very neutral. I now have the strano 35mm front, 22mm rear and it is as neutral as the stock setup. So why would adding a larger rear bar to the stock front bar not cause oversteer?
edit: 10 min search, heres a very close comparison to your setup:

So basically with a 32/23 combo, one of the two will likely happen if you were doing some competition driving:
-The front of the car will push(understeer) more than normal
-... or once the car breaks free, it will be less forgiving when it comes to keeping it in control
That's assuming you are doing some real competition driving. Omg street driving you can probably use anything... doesn't really matter. Personal preference.
For my setup, I use a 35mm front and 19mm rear currently. I like having the tighter front with the rear having a little play. Easier for me to keep under control when I enter a slide at my local competition... and I have a hard time keeping a slide in control.
