Default Problems after shift light install

Hi guys , I just installed my Harlan shift light in ac center vent and hooked into asr pink wire for acc power. Ground to kick panel screw and tach wire spliced into 10 pin wire. The light turns on when I turn key on, then car stutters and farts intermittently upon firing.once it starts it's fine and then I get intermittent tach signals. The light does not turn on at selected rpm either. So I pulled the PCM again and checked the pins...they are straight and no dirt visible. Is it possible I messed up the 10 pin wire when trying to splice( not a lot of room and tugged on it here and there). If so can I easily replace the female end in harness of PCM?any help is much appreciated. I am new to the DIY but I feel it was a smooth and clean install. I used install U which really helped.
